Sweetness Update

I am leaving tomorrow morning for my trip and I won`t be back for two weeks. I didn`t get the chance to post more, because I had a lot of packing to do and also I`ve been called back for a second interview for the job I wanted :D I know, great, huh? But I`ll leave you with a shop update and a few pictures full of sweetness :


These belong to the Cupcake Love Set, a fuchsia and pale pink combination broochrepresenting a cupcake with strawberry filling and sprinkles, decorated with a flower button and a bow:


And a fuchsia with blue cupcake brooch with blackberry filling and sprinkles, decorated with a flower button and a bow:


Both can be found in my shop, where you can also see more pictures of them.
I will try to check in and even maybe post a little something, but until then I wish you all sunny days and a lovely couple of weeks!

Pretty Paisleys

I have been a fan of the paisley pattern for several years now and when I gathered my scrap materials trying to make some good use of them these were the shapes that took form:


First up is a green, brown and turquoise combination decorated with embroidery:


Then a lime,brown and green combo with the same decoration:


And last, but not least the black, purple and gray color-combo embroidered with black and purple yarn for decoration:


My only problem is, that I can`t figure out what to use them for... Brooches? Or maybe pendants for necklaces?!
What do you think, how would you wear them?
Please help!

On other news, I had my first real job interview today and it went GREAT! Really hope I`ll get the job, so keep your fingers crossed!

More Funky Feathers

I`ve been making more earrings to the Funky Feathers set that I showed you in the beginning of this month. These ones are somewhat oriented on the color brown, combined with turquoise :


then with red :


and finally, my favorite, with green :


As usually, you can find them in the shop! Anyways, I will try to squeeze in a few more posts this week since I`m off next week for a little vacation ;)) and I`m still behind on showing off the things I`ve been working on.

New addition to the set of Blooming Heart Cameos :

Fluffy Up!

Last month I showed you some new brooches I made, the fluffy flower brooches. They have become the new favorite so I just had to make some more... You see, the problem with me is that when I find something I like, for example shoes, a cute top, necklaces, in this case brooches I have to have one in every color! Do you know the feeling? It is crazy, but in this particular matter I could help it and I made one in (almost) every color:


The yellow one has a greenish textile covered button in the center:


The blue one`s button has little apples on it:


And the fuchsia one also has a textile covered button in the center with blue and pink texture:


Here they all are in one bunch, with the red and turquoise one, which are still available in the shop, as well as the new ones:



Also wanted to mention that my work was featured today on the Breslog in an article about summer trends by the lovely and talented miss Daria and I wanted to thank her for it.

Owl Bunch

There is a new Gang of Owls in the neighborhood, waiting for lovable owners to take them home. I`m talking about some new phone cozies I made this week to stock up my shop , here they are in one bunch:


I have been using mine since December and it has been such a fun accessory to have, both practical and cute. It has become a reliable friend! This time I made some in traditional colors, and some in a non-traditional color combination for these feathered friends, like the turquoise one.

Pale pink-bellied burgundy owl with black wings and pink tail:


Yellow-bellied brown owl with burgundy wings and yellow tail:


Black-bellied turquoise owl with gray wings and tail:


They are truly good friend to have around! :P

Funky Feathers

Today I`ll show you some new earrings that I made, I had this idea for a long time now, but only now did I get to it :P
Feathers have made their way into fashion by being hip and cool, so here is my version of feather accessories, from felt of course!
A photo of them all mixed up together:


The first earring pair is made from turquoise and brown felt decorated with turquoise buttons:


The second one is a burgundy and hot pink/fuchsia combination, decorated with pale pink buttons:


The third is a red and burgundy color combo with red buttons:


And the last pair, similar to the second one, is made from burgundy and purple felt and it`s decorated with pale pink buttons:


I`ve tried to combine a neutral color with a bold one, to give a splash of color and yet keep it easy to accessorize them with any outfit. What do you think, did they come out that way?
Would you wear them proudly? I sure did, tried out the turquoise one yesterday and got a lot of compliments on it! If you want one, go to my shop where you can get a pair for 4 € (= 15 Ron).

New Cameos

I love making felt cameo-like brooches, so even though the ones in the shop haven`t sold yet I made two more just for fun.
The first one is a new addition to the Cupcake Love Brooch Series , this one being a yellow cupcake with lemon sprinkles and vanilla filling decorated with a white bow:


The second one is one of a kind, made by improvising on a blank cameo shape. It became a purple flower bouquet decorated with flower shaped buttons and a matching bow:


They will be available very soon in my shop, so keep an eye out for them!
