Springtime brooches: The Snails

Here is the follow-up to the springtime brooches update.
Today you can meet these two lovely snails, as the sun started warming up the ground they decided to come out from their shelter and enjoy the sunshine.

The brown one is a seaside snail, her house is decorated with sea-stars:


The green one lives in the forest and loves to hide in the grass from curious eyes:


They both have decorative bows, each one in matching color. More photos in the shop!

Springtime brooches: The Hedgehogs

I have been working on some springtime brooches for my shop and here is the first update: two oddly colored hedgehogs.
I know they may be weird, but they just didn`t want to be plain brown or gray. You can find them in the shop, at least the first one (the pink one has already found a new home).

New set of handpuppets

I had so much fun the last time I did hand-puppets for children and even more fun seeing the girls loving them that I decided to make two more. This time I experimented with the two of most beloved house pets, the dog and the cat:

The cat is gray with white stripes and pinkish ears, paws and nose:


My favorite details are the paws, here they are on the close-up of the kitty cat:

The dog is beige with dark brown spots and one white spot around one eye:

And I already got my future mission from the girls: next time I visit I have to bring them a mouse and a horse. Guess my hand-puppet making days aren`t over yet ;))
